Project Details
Overview
A 7,803 SF comprehensive renovation and buildout of a dental practice for Willow Glen Dental in San Jose. The project transformed both the interior and exterior into a modern, fully accessible space, with a heavy focus on ADA compliance throughout.
Scope
Interior work began with demolition of non-load-bearing partitions and removal of outdated plumbing, mechanical, and electrical systems. New construction included updated partitions, custom casework, advanced MEP installations, and state-of-the-art operatories with modern dental equipment. Additional interior upgrades covered an accessible transaction counter, a drinking fountain, and modernized restrooms. Exterior work focused on functionality and accessibility: restriped parking, pervious pavers, new storefront doors, fresh paint, updated light fixtures, and a leveled sideyard patio with concrete pavers. Accessibility upgrades were a central focus, including a new accessible path from the public right-of-way to the entrance, two new curb ramps, restriped accessible parking, and compliant signage.
Outcome
A fully modernized and accessible dental practice serving San Jose's Willow Glen neighborhood. The combination of interior buildout, exterior refresh, and comprehensive ADA upgrades transformed the property into a cutting-edge dental office that delivers an exceptional experience for patients and staff while meeting every accessibility requirement.
